On March 7^th, a meeting was held between Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan, Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia and Ambassador Imad Moustapha, Director of the Diplomatic Institute of Syria. A ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions of diplomatic training took place.

The directors discussed issues related to the development of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. Mr. Arsen Arakelyan, Head of the Middle East and Africa Department of the MFA of Armenia and H.E. Mrs. Nora Arissian, Ambassador of Syria to Armenia also participated in the meeting.

The meeting was followed by Ambassador Moustapha’s lecture on the current situation in the Middle East for students of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, Armenian diplomats and junior diplomats from Syria, who are attending a training programme organized by the Diplomatic School.
